I tend to agree with you, FWR has been comming up dry for some time now. There doesn't seem to be anything going on with the RED SPOT in particular , and I would like them to get on FNM's back and start drilling there. If its just sand then lets spend the money somewhere else. The Greater Lenora JV intersected some interesting grades, but the widths are small. They are still drilling and maybee they can hit a major vein? This damn Bre-x thing really makes it worse, and we have to wait this thing out or sell at a loss. I think the Bre-x thing will be over in a month or so. On the positive side, FWR is not a bloated balloon like Bre-x. FWR has a 50% interest in the JV's with FNM ($.70), GEN ($.85) and NGC ($.62). You get all this and more with a $.75 FWR share. Not bad value? Interestingly FNM NGC and GEN all had much higher yearly highs than did FWR ===> I think that FWR lacks sorely in the promotion department. A little promotion never hurts with these stocks. I have to look at the bright side of things, FREEWEST has a lot of properties, AND NON OF THEM ARE IN INDONESIA.....
