Sad, but true, Joseph. And right now, maximising shareholder value is
the least of my concerns. I'd like to see someone in the company who
might be capable of actually CLOSING A SALE. It's been 3 months now
since the RBOC announcement which, to read the press releases at the
time, had "... all material terms agreed upon" or some such words to
that effect. And they're STILL negotiating? What's wrong with this
picture? The only good news is that the company is now worth so
little that some bunch of sharpies is likely to pick them up on their
radar and then pick them off. I know if I had $50 million and wanted
to get into a growth industry of the 21st century, I'd be spending a
LOT of time casing the place. This company would be walking-around
money to an outfit like Lucent or Siemens.
