I have no doubt that Israel did everything in their power to encourage us to invade Iraq.

The rumors, which are coming from people in Washington, are that the Niger document, the one that said Saddam is trying to buy yellowcake, was forged by one of the subjects of this investigation. If true, that's going too far.

One of the things you can count on Israel and its supporters to do is a rain dance alleging anti-Semitism and flinging accusations about "cabals" every time they get caught doing something they shouldn't.

Make book on it, I think Nadine already started it, accusing me of conspiracy theories. And people are rushing to say "oh, no, no, no."

I am not going to go that route, either way. I don't accuse anybody of cabals and I don't get cold chills when accused of accusations of cabals. Total red herring.

Spy rings are spy rings, forged documents are forged documents. Just because some people are conspiranoiacs doesn't give Israel a pass.
