Our homeless and indigent in this country receive health care that is as good as much of what Canada provides. A sick, broke homeless person can walk into a state Medicaid office anywhere in America and receive an insurance card that gives him free care at any provider, hospital, or office in America. In most states, the same day. If he is emergency critical, he doesn't have to wait. Any ER in the country will treat him instantly. |
