PNW Capital Inc., (OTCBB: PNWC), accepted the resignations of three of its directors. Mr. Gary Burnie, Mr. Wayne Miller and Mr. Barry Miller’s resignations will be effective 10 days after shareholder notification. In addition, the company expects to announce details of an acquisition within the next few days. PNWC moved forward 33% on over 1 million in volume.
CyberAmerica Corp., (OTCBB: CYAA), has purchased 200,000 shares of Wasatch Capital Corp. from John R. Chapman. This increased the ownership of CYAA in Wasatch to 40% of the current number of issued and outstanding shares. In return, CYAA agreed to transfer to Chapman, 146,286 restricted shares of its common stock, forgive $12,951.40 in rent owed by Chapman to a CYAA subsidiary and transfer shares in four other corporations. CYAA closed down 5%.
Paladyne Corp., (OTCBB: PLDY), introduced DataRobot, a data integrity tool that solves data level problems for data warehousing and e-business projects. PLDY closed down 12% on light volume.
Saratoga International Holdings Corp., (OTCBB: SHCC), announced the acquisition of Access World Wireless Services, Inc. and Access World Telecom & Technologies, Inc. The company states, “With the acquisition of the two Access World companies, we now have the ability to stake a meaningful claim to the enormous international cellular long distance market...” SHCC moved up 4.2% on over 500,000 shares in volume.
Cala Corp., (OTCBB: CCAA), announced Cala of Italy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cala Corp., has acquired a 51% interest in Pedana Costruger of Italy. Mr. Cala reported that this acquisition will generate $2.5 million in revenues starting in the fourth quarter of 2000. CCAA traded 500,000 shares to close down 4.5%.
Logisoft Corp., (OTCBB: LGST), announced the launch of Logisoft Global Gateway 3.1. In August, Logisoft integrated their currency platform into an existing e-commerce Web site for Eastman Kodak Company. Integration took just eight weeks. LGST closed lower by 12.8%.
STOCKS TO WATCH
Peacock Financial Corp., (OTCBB: PFCK), is at it’s 52 week low, down 15%, on news this morning.
Change Technology Partners Inc., (OTCBB: CTPI), soared up 50%.
Service Merchandise Co. Inc., (OTCBB: SVCDQ), climbed forward 25% on 2.5 million in volume.
First Entertainment Holdings Corp., (OTCBB: FTET), continued it’s move down by 15%.
Loch Harris, (OTCBB: LOCH), and Infotopia Inc., (OTCBB: IFTP), closed near their lows of the day on strong volume.
TRADER'S CHAT
With the NASDAQ closing at the lows of the day, traders are concerned about the spill effect into the OTCBB.
MARKET BRIEFING
The most active list continued it’s downward slide. Seven of the 20 most active lost over 15%. American Technologies Group Inc., (OTCBB: ATEG) led the winners list, up over 40% today.
