Our memories differ a little on the spirituality conversation, but as far as I'm concerned, I have no interest in digging things up. You made a generous post to me just now, and explained a lot more clearly the personal nature of spirituality. I'm glad to hear this.

As for the Mississippi thing, it was a public comment that you and I continued to discuss in PM. We never settled it, but I think we're closer now. Just as no one group can lay claim to more intelligence or grace, spirituality and all other human traits are sprinkled randomly across the world. My only hope is that the density of the "sprinkling" increases.

I feel like the air has been cleared a bit here for me. I hope you feel the same.
