1 Pet 3:18-20
18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

And for those after Jesus..who never had a chance to choose .....there is the Millennium...the thousand year reign of Christ..yet to come....No one will suffer the pains of hell without knowing the whole truth of their savior....
The millennium will begin at the return of Christ...and satan will be bound during that time so as not to interfer with that teaching time...
Rev 20:1-3
1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

The reason he will be freed again is to test those who have been taught the truth of Jesus their savior....It will be after this that God will Judge the whole world.....And the second death comes into action..the second death is of the soul.....the death of the flesh is the first death..We will all experience the first deat....but not all will face a second death...
Rev 20:11-15
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Skipper God is not a God who will condemn anyone to death without them first knowing the whole truth of their savior....our Lord Jesus Christ
No one has been judged yet except satan and his cohorts..the one third who followed him in war against God...before the foundations of this world....All others will be judged together at the great white throne judgment...
