Yes.. ABSOLUTELY.. As I mentioned in a previous post, I don't subscribe to punitive torture. And the Interrogatory "torture" we engage in must be planned, controlled, and thoroughly supervised in order to make sure it achieves it's desire goal, the production of credible intelligence that protect those the terrorist intended to victimize.

And again.. what the GC defines as "torture" is pretty subjective. That's why I asked about corporal punishment for school children. Were we to "spank" the POWs of a GC signator, that would constitute torture under its provisions.

But no signature, then no guarantee of equal protections, that's my belief. They fail to abide by the standards of the GC, then their fighters are susceptible to harsh interrogation.
