What I claimed is that if Dems hadn't blocked drilling in ANWR that oil would be coming to market now. I don't make market price predictions, but you can say more oil production sure wouldn't push prices higher.

Gasoline prices are higher most places abroad because the governments place even heavier taxes on petroleum products than we do.
