I don't believe the drop in price the past few months has anything to do with settlement.

I believe it has more to do with share conversions we had last year. With no catalyst (good SSS, earnings, etc), the price had to drop to accommodate those incoming shares.

My theory is that if the price continues to drop to, say, $2, for the next week (10 day avg. period ends @ close, next week Thursday), very few shares will be given (i.e., co will opt for note&cash mix). If market wants higher SSS, they will be given at the expense of margin. The reverse didn't work (http://messages.yahoo.com/bbs?action=m&board=7083788&tid=rad&mid=106125&sid=7083788) and I hope the market is not as dumb (#reply-16889709) this time around.
