John/Jane Does chat tonite @ 5pm PST!
Dear Friends and Supporters of JDA,
It's Wednesday, and that means time for another lively chat
session. Each week, we seem to meet one or two new "John
Does" that need your support and encouragement. These
"SLAPP" lawsuits are intended not only to silence, but to disrupt
work and family associations, to discourage, and to cause financial
injury due to the high cost of litigation. Your presence and your
support in the weekly chats is of great value to these folks. That is
why I have made it a point, ever since we started these in March
1999, to be there almost each and every week.
This week WAS to be an exception, as I had travel plans.
However, due to recent developments during the past 24 hours, I
believed it was important to be there. If at all possible, I request
your attendance, so that I can explain important historical and legal
information relating to an upcoming lawsuit, which I believe will
mark the pivotal reversal in the current trend of SLAPP lawsuits
which we are now experiencing.
