Even Qualcomm has grown tired of their deceit.> No. QUALCOMM has simply refrained from putting in money to a bankrupt company until the main asset's legal position is resolved. That's not due to being tired of deceit. That's due to sensible business decisions. Hollings has really messed things up. They didn't like being pushed by another government department [the FCC]. I was the first to point out that the spectrum wasn't overpriced [April 1996] and that NextWave might find themselves ending up paying more for it if they tried to get a discount deal via bankruptcy [about Sept 1996 I think]. The companies bidding were not small companies [they had to be big ones, or at least have big backers, to raise the $billions bid]. The whole concept behind the auctions of XX chromosome, melanin-rich and impoverished people having special rights to the spectrum was sexist, racist and absurd. Congress was stupid to require such rules. Racism, sexism and stupid government rules are responsible for the mess. Not NextWave. I guess ticking the "Yes" box which asks, "Are you a minority?" would breach the rules too. Slaves getting uppity used to be illegal too. The problem isn't the slaves getting uppity, it's the stupid rule-makers. Mqurice
