I don't follow them, unless I think they can influence the herd. A good example of "crock" is Merril Lynches Tom Kurlak touting MU up to 60 bucks(when the fundamentals already stunk), then quickly changing course the day the bad news comes out. Last year he won some award for his "expertise" in the semi sector. This is the same guy screaming naked on the table about a stock that has been doomed for 2 years.
