The only reason there is nothing good in the congress is that the right wing is protecting the insurance agencies and their fat profits, so the dems have to compromise too much.

If the dems were allowed to build and implement a fair plan without the right wing and their lobbyists obstructionism we could build a hell of a great and fair system.

And that is the truth.

Cmon Koan - You are not being fair. I believe what was crafted in the house had little if any Republican participation. What came out was purely from the democrats. There was a lot of compromise but amongst the dems because just being in a party does not mean that everyone has the same views. A few Repubs have been participating in the Senate bill creation.


The profit margins that I have seen the insurance industry has for healthcare does not seem unreasonable.
