Mr Mark,

is there anyone here who uses ie5 and loves it...?

I used 4.0 and then 4.01, which I thought was a definite improvement. After a bout of difficulties unrelated to the browser I did a clean reinstall of W95 + Service Pack 1. Then I put on IE5.0, the ActiveX security update and a couple of other updates that looked important to my untrained eye, and my applications. My machine has never been this stable before. The benchmarks in the browser reviews indicate that 5.0 is faster than 4.x. For all I know, they are true because IE5 seems a little faster than the others.

Someone on this thread recommended using PQ DriveImage for backing up. I have put it on my hard drive and it's working very well for me. I have a backup file on the secondary drive so if I trash my system I am up and running again in a few minutes. I appreciate the tip.

Frank
