"The geopolitical groupings no longer make sense on the basis of the political borders that were originally drawn for the sake of distinguishing them."

"I presume you are referring to the arbitrary cutting up of the Middle East by the European powers."

No. For civilization to advance we must continue to advance the notion of ‘liberty and justice for all’. Within our own borders founded on this very notion we struggle against those who would have entitlements for their own paid for with injustices suffered upon others. In other lands we have freedom fighters, who still fight and die for the day they will see a free and just society ruling their region...and who we support.

With a shrinking globe and a mixing demographic we can no longer assume that there are those … over there… who are like this, that or the other… and those over in some other there, who are like something else. We are all in it together now and for the duration. 'Liberty' and 'justice for all' exist in association and 'for all' or the notion does not ring true. Absolute freedom, apart from this association, is chaotic and barbaric. When we impose just provisions for all, without personal liberties, we require oppressive slavery to an ideal condition or state.

The changing Global community no longer permits us to define ourselves as a group of principled persons based on national identity. It requires us to stand up and recognize one another on the basis of mutual respect for 'liberty and justice' or to surrender to the power of tyrannical oppression. These terms are not simply another symbol to identify nationality. They are the cause behind which we must identify ourselves as individuals and colleagues (or adversaries) where ever we live or die. Because now more than ever it will be this principle that we will live or die under...where ever we be.
