My example was solely to illlustrate that the danger is in the person, not the location. The same person who will contemplate harm in the workplace will undoubtedly be capable of contemplating it in the discussion place. For instance, people who will libel you in the local supermarket are at least as likely to do so with printer's ink. It is very important to recognize that the converse also holds true.
