ISIS went down quickly because their Saudi support was stopped and that was because of the hideous barbarity of their medievil murderous mayhem which turned off USA and Euroserf support. Obama, Cameron and co were a bit too squeamish regarding Jihad John et al. The jihadists like Osama unfortunately don't obey their paymasters and bite the hand that feeds them. They have a higher calling.

"Arab spring" was thought of by dumb westerners as freedom fighting against totalitarian dictators but the horrendous barbarity of the jihadist ideology was too much.

Then Big Don issued the instruction = hunt ISIS down anywhere and kill them including inside Syria. He also told Saudis that ISIS was going to be dead and Saudis better get the message.

Now Saudis are giving a bit of a nod to a few ideas such as women driving cars and maybe not being swathed in burkas.

But a variety of other jihadists are still supported and currently causing carnage. Russia is on the right side versus jihad.
