It seems likely to me that such an attack would provoke a tighter rein by the Feds.
Oh, undoubtedly. People would demand that.

But for how long? After the Civil War was over, normal Constitutional protections were restored. Lincoln and his successors and the American people were still democrats. They had made a temporary adjustment to necessity, then rescinded it.

So the case that has to be made by Duray (or you, if you wish such a task) is to explain why it's different this time.

My point was not the validity of his POV, only that I saw an opinion about the Administration, not a bomb threat, borderline or otherwise.
Let's say he got as close to a threat as he could and still avoid handcuffs.

The FBI probably keeps two lists, one for the people who are reported and another for the people who do the reporting.
Maybe; maybe not. With something like that, though, I think the reported is going to inspire much more interest than the reporter.
