X Ray: IBM's NC server space saver S/W - UNIX over NT next year IBM's release yesterday of server utility software suggests the NC may also run (mirror) at the enterprise server to a ITO's delight; ...about NC affordability at a inner-city school ? : internet.ibm.com link to specs to see IBM's NC (PowerPC), which runs on most enterprise server OSs , but the Red Herring thinks NT is a way off : herring.com AAPL's Web Objects release may be noteable if it produces JAVA Virtual Machine code for UNIX along with the standard "C" (Windows) stuff .
