The server is real slow today.

Here's a bit of anecdotal evidence to support what I expect to happen throughout fiscal 1998, as the high-end clone competition ends:

"The designers use Mac clones from Power Computing with 9-Gbyte Ultra SCSI-3 hard drives and upwards of 300 Mbytes of RAM. But according to Steven Heimbold, "Come January 1, we'll be wanting to get our hands on [Apple's] 400-MHz systems."
