It's really amazing how trouble-free 18" systems are overall. I've had DIRECT for four years and DISH for over a year and have never had even one problem. I understand that this is the norm. Incredibly trouble-free operations. If you've ever owned large (C-Band) dishes, you'd know that they require regular, periodic tuning. I really marvel at the 18" systems for this reason. It sounds like the individual dealer/installer is the problem in your case. Call Echostar and report "Echonet". Your anger is understood. MV BABER
