Greg,

<I call that a penalty. If you think it's possible to cover the short at the current offer or anywhere near it, you're dreaming!>

Maybe I didn't make the process clear enough for you. When a firm is order a 'buy in', they have until the close of business to deliver the appropriate amount of shares. They can do this one of two ways. They may buy stock on the open market (it does not involve buying at a price higher than the current offer or any penalties, they can buy the shares in any number of trades through out the day) or they can borrow the shares from another firm.

To imply that the firm is required to buy at higher than market prices is absurd as is implying that they are charged some penalty.

Greg, I have no agenda here. I do not own shares, nor am I short shares. I am just trying to balance out the information that is presented on this thread.

I have bought stocks like AENG in the past and listened to cheerleaders like you and obviously, I got burned. I want all the investors in AENG to make up their own minds on buying or selling, but I just want them to do it with correct information, not based on the gospel according to Greg.

Brent
