I would tend to agree that today's press release was indeed a smoke signal that all is well. I called ASPT to ask if they knew who the hell is throwing away good ASPT shares for nothing. They confirmed that one of their institutional holders (we have guessed so much anyway by trading behavior) has been unloading, perhaps to put funds somewhere else in a hurry. They didn't indicate who the seller was, but didn't seem too concerned. I asked if there was anything specific they may have said to analysts that may have caused this decline or convinced the institution to commence selling and the guy said no. BTW, Globex Futures way up right now. Positive open tomorrow maybe. Japan is down almost 1%, but HK and S.Korea up nicely. Seems like this is a good buy opportunity once again, especially if we look beyond this market fit to next year's earnings (which will come and go as they always do). This stock's trading at a fairly low PE.
