OT In 1930(1933), yes, we could have contained Hitler, easily (he came to power in 1933), but by 1939, Germany was far more powerful compared to the US than Saddam is, now. Saddam has much more potential for unconventional weapons than Hitler had. I suspect it is still "potential". Israel has already demonstrated that it would act against more.
