And from the same site -- MPX chipset has problems.

theinquirer.net

AS REPORTED HERE last week, AMD formally announced the arrival of its 760MPX chipset for dual motherboards, as well as the Athlon MP 1900+.

But it seems that there are still some glitches with the MPX chipset, with very few boards out and about in the wild.

Gigabyte, Abit, Asus, Tyan and MSI are expected to produce boards when the problems have been sorted out, expected to be in a week or so.

The official arrival of the Duron MP is however now delayed until the beginning of next year.

AMD is charging $319 for the 1900+ MP processor when bought in quantities of 1,000. µ

* EBNS reports that AMD is speeding up silicon-on-insulator (SOI) production in Fab 30 at Dresden using Soitec wafers.
