I was there! I was there when Beamer would get toasted in the school papers. I was there when there would be epithets about Beamer scrawled on the bathroom stalls. I missed one home game when I was a student, because I had a thermodynamics test the next day - but I couldn't stay away and ended up watching most of it on TV. So don't give me any grief about being a johnny-come-lately.
