I intend to buy CINF in the coming week. I went with HGIC first and it too has gone up with most of the market, but I want to own CINF as well.

What I like about this dividend growth strategy, is that share price doesn't mean anything other than what the market thinks the price is worth today. Share price doesn't affect the dividend.

I used to be pretty good at reading price charts and technical indicators. Under the dividend growth strategy, I don't look at price charts at all anymore in determining to buy or not.

I suppose I could time my buys better, but timing isn't my objective. Maybe I've lost my mind. ... :o)

Shorting high yielding dividend stocks carries risk as well, they have to pay the dividends! The yield on NGG was quite steep!
