Bilow... Now we get Jeff Child... Well know anit-Rambus Fudster since at least 10/1995...

"Hitachi's involvement in the project is a surprise. Although the company has been a quiet
Rambus licensee for some time, it hasn't expressed any desire to make RDRAM parts until now.
Hitachi instead has been putting its focus on synchronous DRAMs (SDRAMs) and EDO
DRAMs. The company has criticized the Rambus approach, saying the long burst lengths and
long latencies aren't appropriate for main-memory use. But the 64-Mbit RDRAM architecture
reportedly solves these issues."

Stop picking your nose, Bilow. At least don't put your pickings under the table top!
