At the same time, I always felt that, technically speaking, the first decline wasn't finished.
Technically means, basically, that something is more likely - or less likely - to happen. A sharp decline like this would, more likely than not, have - at least - a retest of the lows, which is what's happening over the past few days.

We all knew that last year's super rally won't go on forever. I believe, since the 2016 election until recently SP500 didn't have an even 3% pullback. The longest such stretch in history.
