I think Europe has some form of Bill Presentment and Payment. I have a relative in Sweden and he tells me the Post Office sends out a form with all of the bills on it for his address and he checks off the ones to be paid and sends it back. Money is electronically withdrawn from his account and the bills are paid. Rough form of payment, but it is ahead of us.

I have heard that other European countries have similar programs.
