CNBC ADVERTISEMENTS: ads are often part of the fun of watching CNBC, however in recent months ads have gone downhill. For example here is a few of the most pathetic ads followed by some good ones.

WORST ADS:

1. several ads whereby the actor is clicking on a keyboard, - or where viewer simply hears this endless clicking on the keyboard. Several companies do this style, must be a fad with the ad agencies. They are very annoying and don't work in any case.

2. ad where a man and a women are driving along a road on a rainy night - and the man decides to pick up a stray dog. His wife looks at him like he is Mother Theresa herself. Not sure what company

3. FLEET BANK AD (perhaps regional in Northeast only) the "Pedro" ad done all in hispanic, you will know it when you see it. Pretty bad

4. most sappy and paternistic ad ever done. Office Max or Office Depot -where the teacher buys her own office supplies, and her husband (despite facing alleged poverty) he agrees that his wife should go ahead and purchase the office supplies -for the good of her kids in class. Company to donate x percent of purchases at these stores to certain schools that one chooses.

EXCELLENT ADS:

DATEK STREAMER AD - with the medical doctor (with the gravelly voice) with his yuppie "wall street" patient.
Very funny and well done ad

H&R Block ad for financial services: Man reading a crystal ball answering questions over the phone from a representative (a black women) asking questions. Very funny ad. Has not been on recently, but should be back soon.
