Iomega and Syquest are about to be thrown into the trash heap of HISTORY along with Pet Rocks, Braniff, and Atari.<<

Rocky -

I guess nothing changes around here. You still believe any product made by an Iomega competitor will be a big success. It doesn't matter to you if the competitor would also compete with SyQuest.

Castlewood's web site still says, and I quote, "The ORB product line will be available worldwide in many of the leading retail, VAR and mail order companies in the first quarter of 1998. We will update our website as these reseller channels are established."

It also says that they will begin mass production in May.

"The ORB internal drive, either IDE or SCSI interfaces, will be available in the first quarter of 1998. We are looking to partner with qualified OEM organizations whose interest is to integrate the ORB. If you are interested in establishing a direct relationship with Castlewood, please call . . ." When Iomega put contact information for companies interested in Clik! on their web site, you cited it as a sign of desperation.

Why do you have such tremendous faith in Castlewood?
