web.kyoto-inet.or.jp Do you see that middle part of the chart where there is a discontinuity? That's the time when the Nikkei market closes every day for one hour while the traders go out for lunch or tea. Serious. I don't know if the break period is good or bad, it may help in a down market when the traders can talk to each others and calm down, or it may make the market get worse because people are getting more nervous while waiting for the market to reopen.
