What I better understand is that the Colonialists did, at times, bring something better to a continent such as Africa and that those "Freedom Fighters" and "Independence Seekers" have produced very little or nothing at all.

If these countries wished to have their independence, and be part of the Western Community, then they should have realized that they needed to have the indigenous wherewithal to be able to run and manage their countries accordingly. That would, of necessity, have taken the appropriate amount of time. BUT in the end, they would now be in a far better state.

It seems to me that "Missionaries" and "Black Politicians" need to be better educated about the REALITIES of these countries and to how they may be better assisted. I suspect that the vast majority of these two groups have never even been to Africa or would not know where some of these countries are actually situated.

And yet they are quite happy to see American taxpayer's money continue to be poured down the 'black holes', I previously referred to, and have nothing to see for it other than what we regularly see happening such as in the DRC and elsewhere ....
