The reason I ask about the number of warrants being issued is because I believe that the warrants may end up having a short-term negative effect on the stock price when they come due. My reasoning here is as follows...

With publicly traded warrants, if Joe Schmoe owns 10,000 warrants, he can sell them at fair value anytime. If the warrants can't be traded, then he must exercise the warrants or waste them (allow them to expire). In this case, with the strike price being $3/warrant, Joe would need to have a spare $30,000 to exercise his warrants. I think that a lot of people who can't afford the added investment will borrow the money, immediately dump the shares they've just received for a nice profit, and pay back their loan as soon as possible.

Any opinions on this line of thinking? I may be totally off-base...
