Once upon a time, I wore contact lenses (the hard, not the soft variety). Me, too. With great success for about five years, and then I began to have major problems. But now I have the throwaways (but I don't, since I only wear them for Important Occsaions). Fantastic. You really can't feel 'em. My problem with the those is that they give me the sight of an eagle. Cool if you're birdwatching or driving, but a bummer when you want to read the menu. Which, after all, is what really counts. I was always myopic, but the farsighted thing has crept up in recent years. Oh dear! So very confessional tonight.
