The Ds haven't been able to even pass a budget resolution in the Senate in over three years. Really, the Left has zero credibility on this issue. They are just flummoxed with the idea of having to choose programs to be cut, so they refuse to cut anything at all. The Rs will do what has to be done and yes, they'll probably be kicked out off office by a public which is addicted to spending their grandchildren's money.
