To the Thread: Running win98SE...have installed SE shutdown patch..no luck Has anyone ever run across a problem with your system hanging up on the windows shutdown screen at the prompt after installing a program? I've recently started over with fdisk and format of HDD. Even on a manual restart rather than letting the installation program restart the same thing happens. When I haven't installed anything the system goes through shutdowns and restarts perfectly. Any ideas? Thanks, TheCow
