WW2 got us out of the depression. The safety net provided by Roosevelt was irrelevent without recovery and recovery came thru the war. This is not an indictment of FDR. It was desparate times back then economically, not like today. Jerome, you were about 40 years old then in the 1930s, you should remember. mike
