I agree. I am for the rule of law, but that does not mean that I cannot understand. That is one of the reasons that I think Roe v Wade was unwise: by taking matters out of the political process, it made desperate behavior more likely....By the way, you are quite right: I was exultant when the slave fortress was obliterated at the end of "Amistad"!
