Hi Steve,

Of course you know that I agree w/your post. But in
all fairness to Dave, I don't think he doubts the superiority
of DMT over CAP. Only GlobeSpan in its desperation seem
to be arguing that. The question is, what's good enough? Is
there an adequate characterization of line noise to know that
DMT will be needed? I'd love to see some hard facts and
I have a gut feeling based on murphy's law that the noise will
be higher rather than lower than people expect. So when
will we see some real data, and why doesmt someone
camp do such a study?
