Norm, My fury wasn't directed at you personally, but at the situation in which I found myself being insulted by posts on the thread which I took very personally. I had assumed that after all I had already posted over these several months on this thread that I had already established a certain reputation which I value highly. I had planned to stay off this thread for a few days to cool down, but found instead that I felt a lot better coming back on here and letting off a little steam.

One of the premises of the hit piece in the Mercury is that on the Internet, nobody knows who anybody really is. After I posted a SAC member's post verbatim in one of my emails to my SAC, the Mercury author asked who that was. I replied I don't know who anybody is on my list, but that person has been helpful to us in the past and I have no reason to doubt anybody's motives until they give me cause to do so.

The same is true here, I don't know you and you don't know me. We just have to build trust the way Ron has, the hard way, one email at a time. And believe me, if it wouldn't be for RICA and Ron Reece's MUCP work, I'd be in a heap of financial trouble. And I got most of my GRNO at 1 1/4.
