They may not be ready just yet. The cost, in thousands of American lives as well as dollars is so high that eventually it has to happen.

I personally think the medical marijuana thing is a ruse concocted by pro-marijuana forces as a way to get a foot in the door, and nothing more. If it were in fact for medicinal use it would be packaged as a non-smokable product. It seems silly to me.
