I came across this presentation (link below) that was prepared by Jim Farmer of Wave7 Optics, Inc. Jim is an active leader in the FTTH Council's committees that deal with educating the public on the subject. sweetnet.us Other good resources related to an ongoing FTTH project feasibility and RFP process are available at: sweetnet.us I was made aware of these at the following blogspot, which I may have mentioned before. These particular links came from the June 12 issue: communityfiber.blogspot.com The above blogspot, under the stewardship of Al Bonnyman, does an excellent job of covering all forms of emerging access technologies, often citing actual planned and current deployments, including DSL, FTTx, WiFi and other forms of wireless, as well as cable.
