You still haven't made the case that the U.S. is actually doing what you specifically accuse them of doing.

I repeat that I don't think sanctions work.

Do you think the "government" in Iraq is spending all its "oil for food and medicine" money on food and medicine?

Do you think Saddam and those around him are murderous thugs? Do you trust them to behave responsibly at home and in the wider world?

I think there is room for considerable agreement between us but I doubt that will extend to me believing the U.S. intends for children in Iraq to starve to death.
