<<All life forms CALCULATE various paths toward their own survival, such as paths to energy conservation or to least resistance and paths toward safety or defendability. They weigh the evidence that is out there (reality) and act upon it.>>

<<The old greek school of cyncism expressed that fundamentally all creatures act selfishly>>

The evidence is clear. Life forms from viruses to us are automatons, following the instructions of our DNA to assure it's immortality. A baby looks cute and coos and smiles just when it knows we are about ready to strangle it. It has no choice. This is the program. Why else would we put up with the pooping, peeing in our face while cleaning up the poop, screaming, and time and expense of raising a baby, if we were not programed to do so?

We are robots. We are tricked into having sex and enjoying it to ensure the survival of our DNA. Actually, I don't mind being tricked this way. ( Woody Allen said that sex is the most fun you can have without laughing.) The time between sex is just enough fun to keep us alive until we have children. When we see that our children are grown, our bodies wrinkle like a grape turning to a raisin. We have served our purpose, and can now be discarded. We have no choice. Let's rebel against our DNA!
