For a while, now, I have been reading about INTC's goal of placing RF capability on every chip. The idea is that every chip will be able to communicate. If every chip can communicate, then I would want every chip to be programmable. There will be logistical and security hurdles to overcome, but consider the flexibility and efficiency of every piece of silicon as a remotely programmable computer!
