When i moved in with my daughter three years ago she was a prime user at Amazon so I got to piggyback on her. I live alone in a house behind her's that is utility connected. Most of what I buy there are one item orders. It's amazing how many cheap items they have listed on prime that I would normally buy at Walmart or Stater Brothers. I don't have to drive there and walk the store floor to find out they don't have the item I am looking for so I take the easy way out.

My main Costco buy is gas. The 4% rebate alone covers the cost of my card. I buy items that are not available in normal stores. Half gallons of half and half and heavy cream that are super pasteurized to last for a month. My main meat source is cooked corned beef in the Deli that I stock up on when they have it. Whole milk yogurt on special sale. 15 lb sacks of very large potatoes, a staple with me.

Here is my Walmart order, I use canned tomatoes to make tomato soup. That and potato soup are staples in my diet. I get $25 off plus 3%.
