I agreed with you that Jerry Sander is lack of visions. AMD is very good at taking a very well designed and working product then mass produce and enhance the products. They did it very well with x286, x386, x486, and PLDs from MMI...

But design a product from zero up, they have hard time in making it.

I give them a very good credit for pulling themselves out of trouble every times. after they squeezed out the x286 market, they were introuble for a while, then x386 come along, then trouble come again after x386 is ended, again they got in the x486... Now trouble again after the x486 is out.

This time the NexGEN processor is not as well design as the design they got from Intel. Therefore, it take them a little more time to cope with the situation, but I believed if the NexGen design is not a major flaw, they will be on their way to recover very soon.

May be not $50.00 per share but in the $20.00 is good enough.
